Ah, now I’m just hoping for something that may never happen. I’m curious if Haruki Murakami ever turned Yesterday into a full-fledged novel, what would the details in the story be like. I even went back and read it again after I finished all the other stories. It is such a heartwarming story, but also kind of sad? There was something bittersweet about the opening of the story, the way the story flow, and the way it ended.

But my most definite favourite is Yesterday. Yet, some of my friends who have read this book highly recommend it, so why not give it a try, right? Tell you what, I’m glad I went along with reading it because all the short stories ended in such a nice manner that it didn’t felt abrupt in any way. See, the thing about short stories is that sometimes they ended too abruptly that I’m left with, “huh,” and “what?” Honestly, I was actually a bit hesitant to read this when I knew that this was actually a collection of short stories. Lo and behold, it was actually on sale on Kindle Amazon and I thought, why ever not? Now is the time to get my hands around it. Been thinking of picking this book since 2016 but never got a chance to it. It’s been such a long time since I read a Haruki Murakami book, I think. Genre: Contemporary, Fiction, Short Stories
